Elon Musk’s OpenAI Bot beats Dota2 Professional Gamers
Elon Musk’s OpenAI Bot beats Dota2 Professional Gamers. Elon Musk has always been keen on learning Artificial Intelligence advancements but according to him, Artificial Intelligence can be dangerous for Human Race. He keeps a keen eye on all the companies working on developing Bots and using new Machine Learning Techniques. OpenAI is a non-profit organization which researches on Artificial Intelligence and develop Algorithms which are beneficial for humanity on whole.
Recently OpenAI developed a bot which drew a lot of attention from the audience including the top AI researchers from around the world.
Dota 2 is one of the worlds most complex and competitive games on the Planet Earth right now. There are a lot of Dota 2 fests around the world whole year around with a hell lot of amount as cash prizes upto $10,931,103.
During this year’s Dota 2 Annual International Tournament OpenAI enrolled in a bot of their own as a contestant. The bot outperformed even the world’s best and won the tournament. This was a start of something new as this was first time a bot outperformed human thinking in an E-Gaming challenge.
According to reports, The contestant’s said Bot was initially not as good as them but as the game progressed bot had developed a high understanding of the game that they thought a real human mind was playing the game.
It just took two weeks for Elon and team to get the bot to work. Bot had an experience of playing for a lifetime. The bot was super fast and was developed using a complex algorithm and was strategized in such a way that no human can beat the bot. The bot predicted the next move of the opponent said the Dota 2 champion Dendi.
Games are the best and safest way to test these kinds of bots. The bot was programmed in such a way that it would play with a copy of itself and learn new moves every time. This is what Machine learning is all about, Machine learns from itself or from other Machines.
